Roamolio
Terms of Service
Last updated: 23 October 2026
These terms describe the basic rules for using Roamolio, a service for discovering journeys across Africa and making trip plans. By using the service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Using Roamolio
Use Roamolio only as permitted by law and these terms. Keep your sign-in details secure, provide accurate information where required, and tell us promptly if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission. You are responsible for activity through your account, except where applicable law says otherwise.
Your content and privacy
You retain your rights in the trip plans, notes, photos and other material you submit. You give Roamolio permission to host, process and display that material only as needed to operate the features you choose, such as private storage, a named share, a link share or a reviewed public guide. Make sure you have the rights and permissions needed for any material you upload or publish. Do not publish another person’s private information or precise location without permission.
Private trips and publication
Trips are private by default. You choose whether to share them. Public submissions are reviewed and may be approved, returned for changes, rejected, restricted or removed under our safety and content rules. Publication makes only the selected approved content public; it does not make your original private trip public.
Respectful and lawful use
Do not use Roamolio to break the law, threaten or harass people, exploit or endanger anyone, impersonate others, distribute scams or malware, infringe rights, evade access controls, or interfere with the service. Do not present estimates or travel plans as confirmed bookings, guaranteed safety advice or verified attendance. We may restrict access or content when reasonably needed to protect people, comply with law or enforce these terms.
Travel information and providers
Roamolio provides planning and discovery tools. It does not itself operate, inspect or guarantee the safety, availability, quality or performance of destinations, transport, accommodation, guides or other third-party services. Check current conditions and provider terms before travelling or booking. Content and estimates are for planning and may change.
Bookings and payments
Checkout is available only for eligible offers shown in Kenya. The offer page and checkout show the seller, product, complete price, currency (KES or USD where offered), delivery or booking details, and any seller cancellation terms before you confirm. Pesapal processes payment; Roamolio verifies the result with the provider before unlocking a guide or confirming a booking. A browser return by itself does not confirm payment. For a digital guide, you may request a voluntary refund within seven days if you have not opened or downloaded the purchased guide. We will refund a duplicate charge or a verified payment for an offer we cannot deliver. A physical booking follows the cancellation terms shown for that booking; if the provider cancels or does not supply it, contact us for a refund. Approved refunds are sent through the original payment method where available; Pesapal processing time may vary. These terms do not limit a right or remedy that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Seller settlement and payouts
Pesapal settles funds to the merchant account and registered bank account under the merchant terms and schedule that Pesapal confirms. Roamolio does not currently promise automatic split payments or seller payouts from a customer checkout. Any seller payment or payout feature will have separate seller terms that identify eligibility, amount, deductions and timing before it is offered. A completed customer payment alone does not mean a seller payout has been reconciled or sent.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Roamolio available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change or discontinue features. We will provide notice when a change materially affects your account or rights, where required by law.
Account closure
You may stop using Roamolio and request deletion of your account. We may suspend or close access for serious or repeated violations, security reasons, or legal requirements. Account deletion and retention follow our Privacy Policy and any applicable legal obligations.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent allowed by law, Roamolio is provided as available and without promises that every itinerary, listing or estimate is accurate, safe, available or suitable for your circumstances. Nothing in these terms excludes a consumer right, warranty or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Law and contact
Mandatory consumer protections and other laws that apply to you continue to apply. Roamolio is operated by Abraham Ogol. Contact aogol@roamolio.com with questions about these terms.
